Meet My Two Little Helpers At The Eczema Company

Saturday morning I stumbled out of the kitchen and into something unexpected. My two kids had set up shop in the middle of our living room. When I asked them what they were doing they said and I quote “We’re working at The Eczema Company.”

Welcome to The Eczema Company

Then they got down to business:

Daughter: “Hello, do you have eczema? Come, let me help you.”

Daughter: “We have cream.”

Son: “It’s magic because when you put it on, your eczema disappears.”

Ha! What? Where do they learn this stuff? I really am not making any of this up. In fact, after I stopped grinning ear-to-ear, I wrote all this down so I wouldn’t forget the exact words they used. I guess they must overhear me sometimes on the phone with customers. But I promise I’d never claim any of our products are magic – I wish there was a magic solution for eczema! Wouldn’t that be amazing?!

They then proceeded to take turns applying cream (a new one we’re testing for the store) to my hand and then to themselves.

Anyway, I found this whole scenario pretty adorable and touching. Just wanted to share it with you.

We called our sons eczema cream his magic cream when he was little… anything that helps alleviate the grrrrrrr-itch
What’s lovely is that they want to help other suffers – you must be proud 🙂 x

I am so proud of them! I hope they aren’t just trying to be like mama and that they are trying to help others as well. We talk about eczema, my company and what I do a lot. So I’m pretty sure they “get it” at this point. I hope I’m raising some thoughtful kids that will do all they can to make a difference in the world.

Super cuties! I hope you are giving them a fair wage for their hard work! They have grown so much since your main blog photo on the right.

Best wishes to your lovely family. X
